KPLD's Area Art Show: 150th Anniversary Edition
Local artists, get ready! We will be accepting artwork for our Annual Art Show on September 30th, and October 1st and 2nd. Thanks to the generosity of our Friends of the Library and in celebration of our 150th Anniversary, this year is going to be bigger and better than ever.
If you’ve never entered before, don’t be discouraged. We get new artists every year. If you don’t reside within the library district, that’s okay too. We gladly accept artwork from all community artists. And we have a variety of categories that range from photography to textile art.
To enter your artwork, simply stop by for an entry form and bring it in with your artwork during our submission days.
Entries are limited to six per person, so be sure to pick your favorite art pieces for consideration by our judges. Please keep in mind that due to limited space we do have size restrictions for artwork. Details can be found on the entry forms and the Art Show brochures.
Judging will occur on October 6th, with winners being announced during the 150th Anniversary Party, when we will also open the art show on October 8th at 6 pm.
